Madelyn's New Sneakers And Our Valentine's Day Sensory Box

Is it really Thursday already?!?! Besides everything we need to do for the move, February is already a busy month. I'm thinking that might be why the time is the time seems to be passing by extra fast these days. On Tuesday, we went shoe shopping for Madelyn and found her the perfect pair. Typically, I would buy her one in every color to coordinate with her entire wardrobe, but I'm trying not to spend money excessively. I figured the white pair matches with most of her clothes and she still has plenty of boots. Her feet will only grow bigger besides.

She loved running around the house in her new sneakers. 

I've also been working on putting together a Valentine's Day sensory box for Madelyn. I used some heart beads and attempted to dye some rice with food coloring to make it beautiful. It didn't work as well as I imagined in my head, but we ended up with a few pink grains of rice. Madelyn had fun with it anyways.

For those of you getting the snowstorm tomorrow, stay safe! I am personally very excited to be getting more snow because I love playing outside in it with Madelyn. After this storm though, I'm ready for the spring. I love the sun and beautiful weather just as much. Enjoy the rest of your week everyone!
