Thankfully tomorrow is a new day. Having Madelyn sick for the week was very discouraging. These past few days were spent lounging around the house following the Doctor's orders to keep her comfortable. He suggested that we give Madelyn popsicles to keep her hydrated and she loved them. We also tried giving her apple juice for the first time and it was not a hit. After her first sip, she spit it all over the floor saying, "bleh."
Tonight she is doing much better though so that made my night. I missed our sweet little Madelyn smiling and laughing. We took her  temperature before bed and it was finally back down to 98.2 without any medication. She has been acting more like herself too. We celebrated by watching an episode of Mr. Roger's with her before bedtime. She was very excited to say the least. I think she was more impressed with his brown shoes than anything else. She kept pointing to them saying, "shoe, shoe."
