Happy New Year!!

I hope everyone has a fun and safe New Year's Eve!! We will be going over to our friend Amanda's house like usual so it should be a lot of fun. Madelyn falls asleep around 7:30 every night so we will see how long she lasts before crashing.
Besides all of that, we had a nice weekend but it went by way to fast. Backtracking to Thursday, my friend had her baby girl so we went up to the hospital to visit. Her baby is adorable and has a full head of hair already. Madelyn was so excited to see the baby but it would have been easier to leave her home. I didn't think it would be as hard as it was to have her there, but now we know for next time. She wasn't too bad though.
The next day another friend of mine had her baby. She had a beautiful little girl too but we didn't make it up to the hospital this time. We spent most of the day taking Christmas decorations down and getting the house back to normal. It took close to an hour for me to vacuum up the thousands of pine needles through the house and I am still finding them everywhere. I guess that's the one downside to having a real tree but it's worth it to us.
Later that night, our friend's Pat and Molly came over to play games. We played this acting game called Moods where you had to say the sentence on the card using a certain adjective such as angry, bored, tired, peppy ect. I had a  hard time composing myself during my turns because I was laughing so hard. We had a great time though and it was nice seeing everyone.
The rest of the weekend was spent running around shopping and getting more stuff done around the house. I only got pictures of Madelyn sleeping this weekend but I'll share them anyways.

She even stayed sleeping through a diaper and clothing change

It's obvious with the smile on his face that Mike's not sleeping but they both put their hands like that when they do sleep
